THREE KEYS TO PURPOSE DISCOVERY

Everyone on earth possessed an earthen vessel which bears in it treasure (gifts)covered down and hidden to be discovered. These treasures remain untapped, uunproductive and unfruitful until it is discovered. 

These three simple but powerful keys will aid the discovery of that which you possess in your vessel....

1. LOOK UPWARD:
The journey of self discovery with God. ''For in Him we live, and move and have our being...'' There are certain things you will never understand about yourself; certain things hidden from you which can only be found in God; certain things that has been freely given unto you but hidden, which will never be discovered until you discover God.
1.Cor.2:12"Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.''
The knowledge of God you possess is the gateway to the knowledge of the gifts you carry. The absence of the knowledge of God in you leaves you in darkness and confusion. So to discover your gifts, you need to look unto God. Looking unto Him means depending on him for the revelation of what He kept in you. If you must go up you must look up!!!

2. LOOK INWARD:
Your gift is yours; your gift is personal; your gift is unique. Everyone on earth is gifted in a unique way. Before anybody could contribute to your life, you have a larger contribution to make. You cannot fail without your permission, and you cannot succeed without your consent. Everything begins with you. Many a time we tend to blame others for what or what does not happen to us. We always attribute our failures and mistakes to others. Words like: I am poor because my parent were poor; I am uneducated because my parent could not afford sending me to school; I was a dropout because my Uncle refused to support me; I failed that course because the lecturer was unfriendly, and all the likes.
We tend to condemn the government for the instability in the economy even when we failed to discover what we can do to support the growth of the nation. We blame the government for unemployment even when we can employ labours if only we discover ourselves. There is something in you that can solve the problems of your generation. There is something in you that can inspire your world. The more you hide it, the more you hinder your generation.

3. LOOK OUTWARD:
Eyes that look are many but eyes that see are few. There are some precious treasures around you, which can contribute greatly to accomplishing what you are here on earth to do, if only you can see them.
One the greatest treasures God has placed around us is people. The people around you are the gifts from God and are meant to contribute to the discovery of the gifts you carry. Everyone you come across in life has something to give you or take away from you. You therefore need to be wise and diligent in the choice of the people you constantly associate yourself with. The quality of your association determines the quality of your life. Your company determines what accompanies you. You cannot have a vision to fly like an eagle and constantly hang around with fowls. The types of friends you keep plays a great part in discovering who you are. Your friends know your strength and weaknesses; and quality friends helps to build your strength and strengthens your weaknesses.
Choose wisely.....
