We heard of Nelson Mandela, whose undying passion for justice and peace made him a voice to be reckoned with.

Martin Luther King Jr; a man with a transgenerational vision for racial equality, succeeded at bringing greater equality to America and ensured civil rights for all people regardless of race.

We cannot but remember the great work of Mary Mitchell Slessor, a BritishPresbyterian missionary to Nigeria for having stopped the common practice of infanticide of twins among the Ibibio people, an ethnic group in southeastern Nigeria.


Only ordinary people live for themselves. Extraordinary men and women live for others and thereby impact their world.
