BREAKING BOUNDARIES – POPOOLA AKOLAWOLE ~MR. IMPACT
Challenges are what make life interesting. Overcoming them is what makes it meaningful.
So, its interesting you are facing whatever it is you are facing now, but give meaning to your life by conquering them all. Tough times never last but tough people do.
It’s high time we moved away from where we used to be, to where we are ordained to be. Before I go too deep, I implore you to get a pen and a paper. Be sincere and real with yourself. Write out just 5 things you never thought possible for you to do or achieved. Remember I said, be real and sincere. Okay, may be between now and December 31st, what are those things you never thought possible?
More often than not, the limitations we have or encounter in life, are what we built up one way or the other… We set boundaries for ourselves, then life helps us to back it up!
I grew up in an unhealthy environment, where very few people go to high institution, or pursue any worthy goal. This became a boundary and limitation for me, until I had a mind shift. No one goes beyond the level of his mindset.

What are boundaries?
- – They are accepted cultures
- – They are limiting beliefs
- – They are self limiting ambitions
Boundaries originate from our foundational experiences… Every one born of God is ordained a pace setter, a trail blazer and a news maker by redemption. To die unnoticed and uncelebrated in your generation is therefore, an abuse on redemption, a slap of the face of God.
We all have a divine mandate for enlargement and multiplication. No one is created to live within the box. Regardless of your foundational experience, I challenge you to never allow anything limit you. Refuse the boundaries built around you. Never permit your background places your back on the ground!
Life has a way of building walls of limitation around anyone who will settle for it. And until you see beyond where you are, the best of life is out of your reach. Little wonder God instructed father Abraham in the scripture, in other to deliver his precious destiny and enhance his fulfilling his glorious mandate. And the Lord said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward: For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever. So, we can see from the light of the scriptures that everyone’s boundary or limitation begins from error in VISION.

It is to everyone as far as he can see. So, the subject of Vision cannot be vilified while addressing ”BREAKING BOUNDARIES”. I had a very good female friend while preparing for JAMB. This young lady by name KEMI, was good and brilliant. Anything calculation, she is always upfront. Her good knowledge in CHEMISTRY made me call her KEMISTRY. But something went wrong with my friend KEMISTRY which taught me lasting lesson about having the right vision in the journey of life. KEMISTRY told me she will never sit for JAMB, because she preferred to go for NCE than passing through the stress of UNIVERSITY, and she also wanted me to join her so we could continue our friendship. I tried convincing my dear friend, but she refused. I was so scared, and decided to leave her with her choice.
My point here is that, your Vision affects your life to a greater extent, and dictates how far in life you can go. You really do not know what you can do until you have the courage to start. You wouldn’t know how far you can go until to make the bold move.Get the right Vision for life and run with it.
Vision transports anyone to the world of unlimited possibilities. There is only one way anyone will win in the new world we’re in. No other solution will work any longer… That single way is to see yourself in a world without limitation. If we are serious about not just surviving but also thriving in these times of head-spinning change, we’ve got to change our perspective.
In life, what you see is what you seize! Or suffice it to say, what you continually see is what you command-ably seize! This is called the law of attraction. The only way to avoid getting eaten alive is for us to begin seeing our self in a world without boundaries. Remember, it is to everyone according to the extent of his sight. The farther you see, the farther you go.
Another way we build up boundaries around ourselves is via negative thought. Too often we allow negative thoughts and self-doubt to discourage us from doing great things in life. As a result, our dreams go unfulfilled. And sadly enough, this has led many going to their graves with unachieved dreams and visions. May your case not be such. Amen.
Sometimes we allow disappointments and failures to steal our confidence, and again, our treasures remain buried. Insecurities and low self-esteem can convince us that we have nothing special to offer, thereby building boundaries around us.

In what way have you set limits to what you can do? Anyone who will have his own share on this planet earth must shed away his shells.
God has never created anyone to live within the box. So why box yourself in? If you succeed this year, it’s your fault. If you fail, it’s your fault. So choose the fault you love to permit.
